This country is known for its stunning sights and attractions. We are going to explore its astounding natural beauty that magnetizes vacationers/ tourists or visitors attraction. It's a country of exclusive culture and tradition. It's one of the best places on the globe with delicious cuisine and hospitable people. Kuala Lumpur is its capital with charming iconic Petronas Twin Towers.  Malaysia has many offshore geographical places. There would be around 510 which include ridges, sandbank and rocks. It's a multicultural state with many festivals and celebrations. Tour to Malaysia, is really a unique and pleasant experience.

There're lots of choices to stay in Malaysia, so it's tough to decide where to stay?

Mid-range hotels and 5 stars hotels with Chinese, Indian or Malaysian traditional cuisine and cozy rooms are easily available for vacationers/visitors anywhere in cities. You can enjoy luxury hotels or resorts located on islands. Accommodation is so cheap in Malaysia, you can easily get a room for $ 3 to $ 9 USD/night. Private rooms are available for $ 11 to $ 20 USD/night. You can camp in Taman Negara and can save lodgings cost.

Malaysia is a land of festivals and celebrations as multicultural people exist here. Tourists or vacationers can enjoy these festivals almost every month of the year. Here are some suggestions for our visitors.

Tamil Community celebrates festival named "Thaipusam". It's a unique festival that is worth seeing. It can be best observed at Batu Caves in Selangor or Penang, in Januanry.

Chinese New Year is celebrated in February and last for 15 days. You can enjoy lion dances, fireworks, and delicious Chinese meal.

In April, Good Friday and Malaysia Water Festival are celebrated.

Wesak Day, and Harvest Festival are celebrated in May.

Malaysia is not less than a heaven for shopaholics. Super international brands have covered Malaysian market and have luxury stores here. Sales at shopping mall attract many tourists every year. Mega Sales held on Christmas and Independence Day and last up to two months.

Utama, BB Plaza, Fahrenheit88, Lot10, Plaza Low Yat, Suria KLCC and Sogo are some remarkable shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur.

Langkawi Fair is a beautiful place for a shop in Langkawi.

Malaysia is a country with beaches. Therefore, beach holidays can be enjoyed all around the year. Summer season is mild, and usually climate is pleasant in Malaysia so you can visit it in all seasons. Anyhow, December and January are two peak tourists' seasons.  From June until August is also a good time to enjoy beaches activities.

Tiada goreng pisang tepi jalan di Sabah

Satu perkara menarik yang saya kesan sepanjang berkesempatan berada di Sabah adalah tiada goreng pisang dijual tepi jalan macam yang banyak terdapat di Semenanjung sini.

Kalau kita berjalan-jalan di Semenanjung, dari Perlis sampai ke Johor tanpa menggunakan Lebuhraya Bertol, sudah tentu kita akan bertemu dengan ramai peniaga goreng pisang di tepi jalan. Tapi saya tak nampak seperti itu di Sabah

Saya tak pasti samada saya yang masih kurang berjalan mengelilingi Sabah, lalu tak temui orang jual goreng pisang tepi jalan. Ataupun memang kat Sabah terlalu kurang penjual goreng pisang di tepi jalan tidak sebagaimana di Semenanjung.

Ada goreng pisang di gerai tepi pasar

Saya perasan di salah satu gerai makanan laut di sebelah Pasar Kota Kinabalu ada menjual goreng pisang. Saya ada membelinya sedikit sekali dan merasa keenakan goreng pisang yang sejuk gedik itu. Sejuk pada goreng pisang itu menandakan sudah lama di goreng dan dibiarkan terdedah atas meja.

Memang salah satu kegemaran saya kalau menaiki kereta menyusuri jalan-jalan kampung atau pekan, saya akan perhatikan kalau-kalau ada makcik atau pakcik yang menjual goreng pisang panas tepi jalan. Kalau ada sudah pasti saya akan singgah membelinya.

Pisang Abu, pisang goreng paling sedap

Tambahan pula kalau pisang yang tergantung untuk digoreng itu adalah Pisang Abu ataupun Pisang Nangka, mesti kena singgah. Tapi jangan goreng dengan tepung rangup yang berbuih tu, langsung tak sedap. Walaupun rangup tapi rasanya macam plastik yang tak ada rasa makanan, sebab itu saya tak akan beli goreng pisang yang digoreng dengan tepung rangup.

Pisang goreng yang digoreng dengan tepung beras, dimasukkan sedikit kunyit untuk kuningkannya dan kemudian ditambah sedikit dengan kapur sireh untuk ranggupkannya dan boleh ditambah juga telur dalam campuran tepung dan air lalu diadun sedikit pekat. Celurkan pisang yang telah dibelah dua dan goreng. Kalau makan panas-panas, ceritapun tak guna betapa lazatnya!.

Tiada goreng pisang dari Kota Kinabalu ke Kota Marudu

Sepanjang saya naik kereta dari Kota Kinabalu, ada beberapa perkampungan yang dilalui, tapi tak ada penjaja goreng pisang. Saya melihat-lihat juga untuk singgah dan beli goreng pisang tapi tak jumpa.

Apa yang ada dijual di tepi jalan adalah gerai barangan peralatan tradisional seperti bubu dan sebagainya dijual di tepi jalan. Ada juga yang menjual jagung bakar yang betul-betul dibakar. Goreng pisang tak ada tapi pisang mentah masak ada.

Harga pisang berangan yang mahal

Oleh kerana saya lihat ada pisang berangan yang cantik segar di gantung banyak di situ, saya teringin sangat nak makan dan merasa pisang berangan tempatan. Kalau di sini biasanya harganya dalam lingkungan RM3 ke RM3.50 sekilo.

Saya ambil satu sikat dan tanya berapa harganya. Dia terus kata RM6 tanpa menimbangnya. Saya agak terkejut dan bertanya berapa harganya sekilo. Penjual itu jawab kat sini tak dijual dengan timbang kilo. Tapi mereka jual dengan harga satu sikat.

Wah! patutlah mahal sungguh harganya. Saya dapat rasakan satu sikat itu beratnya dalam lingkungan lebih setengah kilo dan tak sampai satu kilopun. Jadi harganya paling mahal kalau di Semenanjung hanya sekitar RM3 sahaja. Tapi terlalu mahal di Sabah sedangkan itu adalah kawasan Kampung yang jauh dari Bandar. Sepatutnya murah saja apatah lagi jika hasil tanaman sendiri.

Gerai barangan tempatan menarik

Ketika perjalanan balik kami sampai di satu perhentian yang ada sederet kedai-kedai yang menjual berbagai barangan tempatan. Sudah tentu salah satu barang makanan yang dijual di situ adalah Kuih Cincin.

Kami singgah sebentar untuk melihat-lihat dan membeli sedikit bekalan mengunyah bila malam di hotel nanti. Ketika singgah saya bertanya pada salah seorang kakak pemilik gerai tersebut. "Berapa sewa di sini kakak?".

Kakak itu menjawab dia tidak menyewanya. Gerai itu miliknya sendiri dan dia yang membinannya. Tanah disitu juga miliknya. Dia menambah lagi bahawa kesemua peniaga di situ membina sendiri gerai yang ada pada tanah masing-masing.

Memang terpuji sikap mereka semua yang saling bekerjasama membina satu kawasan secara sekata untuk dijadikan pusat perniagaan barangan keluaran tempatan. Itu satu usaha terpuji yang amat saya kagumi. Tapi masih juga tak ada dijual goreng pisang di situ, dan kamipun meneruskan perjalanan.

Nampaknya saya tak dapat beli goreng pisang di tepi jalan sepanjang berada di Sabah tempoh hari. Boleh beli pisang mentah pula mahal harganya walaupun memang tak dapat dinafikan pisang berangan itu sedap dan segar.

Makanan Terkenal Di Sabah | Rendang Ikan Yu Atau Sinagol | Jangan pelik bila sebut ikan yu.. Hahaha.. 

Inilah salah satu makanan yang terkenal di Sabah... Rendang Ikan Yu atau Sinagol.. 

Sebenarnya ini kali pertama aku buat sendiri tanpa bantuan sesiapa pon... Sekali tu tak menjadi pulak.. Lambat nak masukkan rempah ikan dengan serbuk kunyit... Choiiii..!!

Walaupon bentuknya tak menjadi sangat, tapi rasanya tetap sama... Tapi tak se'ummmpp' macam air tangan mak aku... 

Next time aku bagi bahan bahannye bila dah cukup sempurna... Jangan risau, ikan yu bukan lah makan manusia yang macam dalam filem tu.. Ikan yu kecik je.. 

Ade macam macam lagi makanan yang pelik di Sabah, insya Allah aku akan kongsikan dengan semua..

Saya mau mengucapkan terima ksih g tidak terhingga, serta penghargaan & rasa kagum yg setinggi-tingginya kepada AKI JEYAPATI , saya sudah kerja sebagai TKI selama 5 tahun di singapore, dengan gaji lebih kurang 2.5jt/bln, tidak cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari, apalagi setiap bulan harus mengirim ortu di jawa, sudah lama saya mengetahui roomnya AKI ini, juga sudah lama mendengar nama besar aki, tapi saya termasuk orang yg tidak terlalu percaya dengan hal ghoib, jadi saya pikir ini pasti kerjaan orang iseng Saja.
    tetapi kemarin waktu pengeluaran 8924 , saya benar2 tidak percaya & hampir pingsan, angka yg diberi aki 8924 ternyata tembus, awalnya saya coba2 menelpon, saya bilang saya terlantar di singapore, tidak ada ongkos pulang, terus beliau bantu kasih angka 8924 setelah saya bantu mahar 8 juta.mulanya saya tdk percaya,mana mungkin angka ini keluar, tapidengan penuh pengharapan saya pasangin kali 100 lembar, sisa gaji bulan januari, ternyata meledak….!!!
